Winning Moves has so many GREAT GAMES!!! From Crocodile Dentist which is still a HUGE hit with the Grandkids to Scrabble with Tile Lock! DH and I never seem to have enough time in the day to sit and play a game board together, so I came up with a running game of Scrabble!! The board sits on the table all the time. When your initial is on the board it’s your turn. I know it’s not a conventional way to play but, it works for us.
Scrabble has always been a family favorite for us. Now it’s a great on going
battle game with DH. NOW if I could find something to do with these 4 I’s!!! FOUR!!! I see some if, it, is and in’s coming soon to our game.
Not only is playing Scrabble fun!! But it an awesome way to exercise your brain!!! According to a report by the Alzheimer’s Association, “5 million Americans are affected by Alzheimer’s disease.” Keeping your brain active is a necessary exercise! A game that stimulates the brain is a perfect way to get that brain exercise!! HELLO Scrabble!!
It’s not just a theory that ‘playing mental games keeps the brain active!’ The Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Centre did a study that showed the “risk of developing Alzheimer can be reduced by 47 percent by thought-provoking and mind-stimulating activities.” The Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Centre recommends forming a “Scrabble or Mahjong club” to make sure that something is done for the brain regularly.
I’m having FUN, I’m kickin’ DH’s
as butt and warding off Alzheimer’s all at the same time!!
So, afraid of developing Alzheimer’s?? Grab a Scrabble board!! This official plastic Scrabble gameboard comes with tile lock system, 100 plastic Scrabble letter tiles, 4 plastic tile racks, 1 drawstring tile bag and instructions.
